3 Summertime is here and suddenly it ’ s the summer holidays! We ’ re hoping with them comes some good weather so we can all get out and enjoy the many places which have opened up again and the events which are being held. It has been a long time without our favourite playbarns, cafés, venues and shops open, and we are SO happy to be able to visit them all again! Now more than ever we need to support local and help them recover after the last 18 months and staycationing and being a tourist in our own area is a great way to do this! We ’ ve so many wonderful places to go and enjoy—so pack a picnic and make the most of it. Remember to leave only footprints and memories though. There are also events popping up for dates over the summer months —many outside— and all working hard to be Covid safe! One we ’ re looking forward to is the first ever Royal Deeside Motor Show in July. However, as many were still being planned when we went to print they didn ’ t make the magazine deadline.
