He tells us more about his role and how his passion for cycling is helping young people across the UK Hi there! I’m Mark. I’m an Associate Director at One Broker, an independent insurance broker with offices in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. I’ve worked with Tilly at Raring2Go for 2 years, so I’m delighted to have my own column! At work, my main focus is on helping businesses and individuals to find the right insurance protection for their needs. Whether you need Home Insurance or Commercial Insurance, I’ll take the time to get to know you and the risks you face before arranging a policy. In fact, it’s my favourite part of the role! Outside of work, I’m a keen cyclist and participate in annual fundraising challenges on behalf of the charity Young Lives vs Cancer (formerly CLIC Sargeant). Over the years, I’ve cycled thousands of miles and raised thousands of pounds with friends. This year we cycled from Llandudno to Gretna back to Huntingdon – 525 miles – in 5 days and raised £14000. I’m proud to support the valuable work of the charity, which helps young people and their families after a cancer diagnosis. It really helps me to get through those last few miles!
