If you answered yes, fostering with Central Bedfordshire Council could be the new adventure that you may have been looking for. Children of all ages need foster carers, someone they can rely on to give them love, comfort and support, while we work with their birth families to plan a safe and secure future for them. We will always try our best to reunite children with their families, sometimes this isn’t possible. This is why having a warm and welcoming foster carer, who has the child’s best interests at heart, is so important. Currently, we are urgently seeking people who can care for: Babies Babies need someone who can give them a safe, calm and loving home, an environment where they can thrive and meet their early development. Siblings When siblings need a foster home we will always try and find a home for them together. It’s vital for their long-term mental wellbeing and provides them with stability. They can help each other to feel secure and know that their sibling is safe, with them. Teenagers Teenagers are so often overlooked and thought to be more difficult than younger children to care for. This is not always the case. They need open minded people to help them navigate their teenager years. Interested?
