Under the new ownership of seasoned publicans, Sonia and Fiyaz Rehman , The Saddle & Spoke, housed inside one of the market town’s most historic buildings, is named for the legacy and contribution that Biggleswade has made to the world of cycling. The team were only too delighted to welcome us to enjoy this home away from home. With sumptuous interiors including comfy sofas, soft fabrics, low lighting and tasteful wall art, The Saddle & Spoke is the place to unwind and get comfy while enjoying some of the best food for miles. Dining doesn’t get much better than this with the chef and rising star, Will Ingarfill. I tend to cook roast dinner at home, it’s just something I love doing and find it hard to find somewhere that matches a homecooked roast. The roast at The Saddle & Spoke was most definitely homecooked and made with the finest quality ingredients. I had the pork which was tasty and succulent, the roast potatoes were amazing and there was a good selection of vegetables. The Yorkshire Pudding was huge! My daughter had the Chocolate Brownie to finish which was amazing! Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two, a celebratory gathering, lunch on the hoof or a proper sit-down Sunday roast for all the family, Will’s constantly evolving menus are delicious and memorable.
