Explore why people give to museum collections, and why it’s so important that they do in our summer exhibition: ‘Collected Works’: finding a good home for cherished things. Discover the stories and objects that have come to the John Bunyan Museum & Library in this celebration of our recent collections. On display at the Basement at Bunyan Gallery from Friday 19th July 2024. Open 11am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Free Entry. Our Crafty Thursdays return every week this August. Be inspired by our collections, stories, and even our garden with a fun new creation to make and keep each Thursday. Have fun with our seaside theme, fun puppets, crazy clay, and become Secret Agents! From 11am-3pm (last entry 2.30pm). Drop in- no booking required- £2 per participating child, accompanied. New for 2024, Bunyan Meeting is running craft and activity sessions every Tuesday in August. With a Noah’s Ark theme, each week make a different animal to take home and help Noah fill his Ark! Have a go at trails around the museum and find the hidden surprise in our summer exhibition. 11am-2pm in Bunyan Meeting completely free. Free sandwich lunch for children completing all three activities on the day.
