CLUBS & CLASSES Child car seat safety events: Monday 25 November: The Ark, Poole Park from 9.30am to 4:30pm Tuesday 26 November: Littledown Centre, B’mth from 10am to 2pm Recent research shows that 65% of child car seats are not properly fitted. You can get your child’s car seat checked at one of the free events. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and check that your child’s car seat is correctly fitted. Why it’s important to make sure your child’s car seat is fitted correctly Your child’s car seat is there to keep injuries to a minimum if there’s an accident. It is extremely important to make sure it’s properly fitted. It could even save your child’s life. Many parents do not get the correct fitting advice from the store they bought the seat from, which puts lives at risk.
