Having joined the school eight years ago and been Deputy Head for five years, she already knows every child and family well. Taking up the reins from Mrs Laura Richards, Headteacher since 2016, Mrs Male brings a wealth of experience to the role, having devoted her 20-year career to education, working both as a class teacher and in school leadership roles. Moving forward with her characteristic enthusiasm and passion, Mrs Male has committed to maintaining everything that makes the 110-year-old family-owned school unique, while paving the way for an even brighter future. She said: “I am excited and honoured to lead St Martin’s. I have had the great pleasure of getting to know this school community very well over the years, so I appreciate just how special it is. “St Martin’s is a family. This is a warm and nurturing environment, where children can be curious and creative, explore ideas, and are inspired by talented and dedicated teachers.
