Do you love being in the great outdoors? Are you and your family up for the challenge of cutting down your own Christmas tree in the woods? If so, visit Wilderness Wood, in Hadlow Down near Uckfield, on November 9th or 10th to choose your perfect tree from a beautiful field full of Christmas trees, with stunning views. Families vary in how long it takes them to choose the right tree; some people fall in love in seconds but others debate it for hours! One of the friendly team is on hand to advise if needed. Once you have chosen your special tree, you can then decorate it. Some families have been making this an annual tradition for 40 years! This year you can also enjoy pizzas served from the Cookhouse pizza oven and decoration making, so that you can decorate your tree with a completely unique decoration made by you and your family. Come back in December to cut your tree down. Enjoy either a peaceful hot chocolate and mince pie on weekdays or all the fun of Festive Fayre weekends on 30th November/1st December or 7th/8th December with arts and craft stalls, local makers, mulled cider, delicious mince pies, wood-fired pizzas and barista coffee.
