WHAT'S ON 28th September Burgess Hill Bonfire - Fairfield Recreation Ground, 6.30 pm onwards Follow the processions which then culminate in the bonfire and firework display. 29th September Raver Tots - PRYZM Brighton, 3pm - 5pm The ultimate indoor dance party playing garage, drum & bass and house music with bubbles, confetti blasts and face painting. September From 5th October Pumpkin Picking - Poynings Pumpkin Patch, Poynings Come and pick your own pumpkins and squashes from a wide selection of varieties suitable for carving and eating. 12th October Stargazing Evening - Sheffield Park and Garden National Trust, 6pm - 9.30 pm Wrap up warm to experience the Autumn skies. Includes a Royal Astronomical Society talk and a jacket potato or hot dog supper. 12th October - 3rd November Spookiful at Standen - Standen National Trust, East Grinstead, 10 am - 4.30 pm Follow the trail around the garden, spotting the creepy crows and bats. Enjoy games and Adventure Corner. Trail £3 with gift. 18th - 31st October Pumpkin picking - Picking Patch, Preston Park, Brighton, 10am - 7 pm Choose your pumpkins, follow the Halloween mystery trail, carve pumpkins, toast marshmallows and get crafty with witch crafts. October 19th October - 3rd November Halloween Half Term Trail - Nymans National Trust, 10am - 4.00 pm Take part in a free fun Halloween themed trail with pumpkin faces, witches hats and a bubbling cauldron. Normal admission applies. 20th October National Brick Event - South of England Showground, Haywards Heath, 11 am Calling all LEGO enthusiasts! Dive into pits full of bricks, build whatever you would like, view amazing LEGO creations and make mosaics. 20th October Firle Bonfire - Firle, 7.30 pm (parade) and 9 pm (bonfire and fireworks) Enjoy the torchlight procession through the village to the bonfire and fireworks. 26th October - 31st October Trick or Treat Trail - The Macs Farm, Ditchling Take a wander through the eerie Trick or Treat Trail to see what sweet treats you can find. Then warm up by the fire pits with a hot chocolate. 26th October - 3rd November Halloween Shriek Week, Drusillas Park Dare you enter the creepy Haunted Heights haunted house? Enjoy lots of frights and thrills. 30th October Spook-tacular Monster Party - Borde Hill Garden, 11.30 am, 12.30 pm & 2.15 pm Enjoy a monstrous Halloween party with monster themed games, disco and prizes. 31st October Dame Dolly’s Spooktacular Show - Ropetackle Arts Centre, 11am & 2pm Give Dame Dolly a hand to put on her spooky show, as she needs lots of help from the audience.
