The anticipation is what brings the nerves, yet the Lionesses will go prepared, with fighting team spirit and hoping to do it not only for the fans, but for injured favourites, captain Leah Williamson, Beth Mead and Fran Kirby. Is it coming home again? England’s success at the Euros has seen the popularity of women’s football skyrocket this season.
