9 Two newly - renovated cottages, authentically integrated into the Park ’ s brand - new red panda exhibit, ‘ Red Panda Retreat ’, will be available to book from August 2021 at West Midland Safari Park! Designed to give occu- pants an unforgettable stay in a unique set- ting, the two cottages are nestled into the Discovery Trail within the Park and have been expertly transformed into luxury accommodation with Nepalese design influences. Window seats are also featured in every bedroom, from which guests can have an amazing view of a red panda right outside their window and watch the endangered species lounge and play in their brand new habitat. The new exhibit, Red Panda Retreat, will also be open to guests inside the Safari Park from August, and will be the first time red panda have been housed at the Park. Red Panda Retreat has been specifically designed to showcase the species ’ natural behaviours, with stimulating and enriching environments such as climbing structures, nesting boxes and RED PANDA COTTAGES NOW AVAILABLE AT WMSP plenty of planted bamboo. The Red Panda Retreat is the latest West Midland Safari Park development, hot on the heels of the eight new luxury ‘ Safari Lodges ’, which opened in April, with beautiful views of the Park ’ s African elephants and cheetahs.
