As well as a whole museum of national treasures to explore our half term activities for families are sure to keep the kids out of mischief. Come and have a crack at a challenging code-breaking trail and find out about spies and secret agents in the Second World War. Plus there’ll be a fun ‘find the pumpkin’ activity for our younger visitors. Featuring your favourite titles: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show, The Very Hungry Caterpillar which celebrated its 50th Birthday in 2019. Saturday 22nd - Sunday 30th October Halloween Happy Hauntings - Fishers Farm Park Halloween Happy Hauntings – a week of spooky, ‘cackle-tastic’ fun awaits you and all the family this October half term! Venture into the Fishers mystical ‘Little Boo Barn’ to see magical creatures and enchanting sights, bprepared to oohhh and ahhh at our mysticmagicians in our daily magic shows and dare to ride our mysterious Ghost Tunnel. Too cute to spook? Please don’t worry if you’re not the Halloween kind – there will be lots of other half-term fun on offer this school holidays. Saturday 22nd, 23rd and Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th October Make Space - Watts Gallery, Compton An activity devised by Watts Creatives in collaboration with Laura Ribbons. Explore sustainability and create a ceramic tile inspired by Watts Chapel. Once completed, photograph your tile and contribute to a digital collage that will feature on the Watts Gallery website, then take home your handcrafted masterpiece. Sunday 23rd October The Noise Next Door: Mysterious Mansion of Mystery - Farnham Maltings Take a tour of the world’s most bewildering building with comedy heavyweights The Noise Next Door. Who knows what lurks in the curious corridors and bizarre boudoirs of this ancient manor house? You do! What you say goes in this hour of anarchic entertainment that is fun for literally everyone.
