Saturday 6th September - Sunday 9th November We’re Going on a Bear Hunt- Polesden Lacey We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, is coming to Polesden Lacey this autumn. Get ready to swish, splash and squelch your way through the new sensory trail to find the bear.The much-loved picture book and awardwinning animation will be brought to life in the grounds of Polesden Lacey through a series of interactive installations, emulating the journey undertaken by the family at the heart of the story. Saturday 20th September Haslemere Food Festival Haslemere’s Food Festival is back once again (for the nineteenth time!) on Lion Green to celebrate local produce and producers! We look forward to welcoming you all for a family day with food stalls, catering, refreshments and entertainment. Taking place in Guildford Town Centre, the event aims to revitalise the local art scene by utilising independent shops, arts venues, and creative spaces. Saturday 27th September Glow Night – Hollycombe Steam in The Country A truly magical spectacle! Enjoy Hollycombe at Night under the glow of festoon and brightly lit fairground rides and showman’s engines. 6pm to 10pm. Free parking, museum shop and café open! Saturday 27th September River Wey Festival – Dapdune Wharf Enjoy a family festival at Dapdune Wharf. Browse the craft stalls, enjoy street food and take part in free family activities and relax by the river with live music. At dusk the illuminated pageant will take centre stage with boats lighting up the river on their way from the town centre to Dapdune. Free entry. Friday 10th & Friday 17th October Wharf Weenies- Dapdune Wharf There will songs, stories, time to explore and play in the beautiful natural environment at the National Trust’s Dapdune Wharf by the River Wey. Your little ones will gain confidence in their physical, social and emotional skills, they will enjoy exploring the environment perhaps spot some ducks, robins, great tits or even the kingfisher. They can be creative with nature, enjoy the mud kitchen, where they can mix up an array of potions, soups and cake for everyone including dragons! Monday 20th October Spooky Craft Club – West Horsley Place Join us—if you dare—for a full day of frightfully fun creativity at our Spooky Craft Club! In this dropoff workshop, children will design and make their own Halloween decorations, including Modroc Sheet Ghosts, create Eerie Spin Art, and bubbling Magic Potions. Along the way, they’ll develop skills in sculpture, painting, and creative design—while bringing their spooky ideas to life.
