Hogmoor Inclosure, Bordon A beautiful wood and heathland with an incredible play and picnic area, suitable for children of all ages. It includes waymarked trails for walking and has a free carpark too. Why not pack a picnic and make a day of it? Music in the Meadow, Gostrey Meadow, Farnham Music in the Meadow runs every Sunday throughout the Summer. Enjoy free afternoons of live music! Bring your own picnic or enjoy refreshments provided by the Farnham Andernach Friendship Association at the charity tea tent. Guildford Castle Grounds The Castle Grounds are free to visit and open all year from 8am to dusk. The stunning gardens feature beautiful floral displays, unique each year. There is a Victorian Bandstand and passageways, a pond, a 17th century bowls green and Alice in Wonderland Garden. Bands play each Sunday in Summer 2-4pm. The Lightbox, Woking Family-friendly activities are suitable for children of all ages. Sessions run in every school holiday and encourage individuality and expression. Younger children may need a bit of help and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Check the website for upcoming free activities. Donations are very welcomed. Free Summer Activities! Family Fun Day, G Live, Saturday 6th July Launch your summer with our Family Fun Day… A whole morning dedicated to creative workshops, mini performances, and activities for everyone to come and take part in. No need to book in advance, just turn up on the day! This is a FREE event – Donations welcome! Your generous donations will contribute towards our charitable arm of the business so that we can deliver more events like this for the local community in the future. Bishop’s Meadow, Farnham The Bishop’s Meadows are one of the few remaining water meadows in this part of Britain and have been in existence since at least AD687. It is classified as a ‘Site of Nature Conservation Importance’ and is home to a wide range of wildlife including egrets, kingfishers, bats, grass snakes, voles and the occasional deer. There is a brand-new family trail at Bishop’s Meadow – details online! The National Trust The National Trust has lots of places you can visit not just locally but all over the country for free and during the summer months they offer so much to do. Check out their website to find out where your nearest spot is. Our favourites are The Devils Bunch Bowl and Frensham Ponds. Raring2go!
