Each room features a different theme to take you through an adventure of magic and wonder. You’ll be lucky enough to privately visit Father Christmas in his own cosy cabin, where himself and the elves will be checking your name twice on the gift list. 24th November - 24th December Christmas at Godstone Farm Get ready to unwrap the spirit of Christmas with a magical visit to Father Christmas at Godstone Farm! New for 2023 we’re proud to present ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, a live theatrical experience by the Unusual Theatre! Daytime Father Christmas visits will delight everyone, you’ll meet friendly elves and take a magical journey to see Father Christmas himself! 26th November, Dorking Halls Christmas Light Switch on. Come and watch performances from the cast of Snow White, Santa’s Magical Gift and local drama and dance companies. All throughout the day there will be face painting, children’s crafts and fairground style entertainment will be out the front from around 4pm... so there really will be something for everyone. Weekends in December then daily from 18th – 23rd Dec. Tales of Betwixtmass at National Trust Standen Join us on a magical sound adventure this Christmas at Standen. This is a specially created immersive audio trail for all the family, where you’ll be searching for Father Christmas in the land of Betwixtmass. See Father Christmas in the Woodland Den and listen while he tells you a story. Unlock an imaginative world and discover the Snooflets, puppet creatures who tell stories, along the way. 25th November – 7th January A Fairytale Christmas at Polesden Lacey Cinderella must go to the ball so, spread some Christmas cheer to transform her pumpkin into a carriage to meet Prince Charming, see Peter and Wendy setting off to Neverland before the snowstorm arrives, and tip toe past Sleeping Beauty. Follow the immersive Christmas displays through the house on your way to find Father Christmas. Selected evenings 23rd Nov. 2023 – 1st January 2024 Glow Wild 2023 at Wakehurst Sussex's ultimate festive trail is celebrating its tenth anniversary, featuring a never-before-seen route, brand new installations, and packed full of other surprises. Santa Landing brings together a Christmas market, funfair and grotto in Reigate on Sat 2nd Dec 2023 from 9:30AM in Priory Park, Reigate. 9th December Horley Christmas Fair & Lights We’re back with another amazing Christmas Fair presented by the Horley Association of Traders. Come and visit the Highstreet as Horley is turned into a Winter Wonderland full of Christmas Stalls, fantastic food, Live Music, Mulled Wine, Gifts and lots, lots more!! Plus don’t forget to visit Santa’s Grotto to tell him what you want for the big day! The Christmas Lights will be turned on at 4pm. 19th December Christmas Crafts at Gatton Park Get the sparkle out for lots of Christmas craft creativity and get the young ones helping with the Christmas preparations at Gatton Park Christmas Craft event. Choose from the morning or afternoon session and enjoy making festive crafts together. 1st – 31st December Festive Family Nature Trail at Priory Farm This year, Fern, Timber & Pebble have discovered the top-secret training routines that the reindeers follow to prepare for their festive flight. Are you ready to uncover their secrets? Wrap up warm and get ready to meet our crafted Christmas reindeers. You will learn about their preparations through the captivating pages of our Secrets Books hidden throughout Discovery Land. 13th December Little Crafters at Leonardslee Your budding artists shall be inspired to learn new skills as well as completing at least 4 different crafts plus a bag to decorate and take their crafts home in. We have a selection of trays out with different crafts to do alongside your child. Aimed at pre-schoolers and KS1 schoolers up to age 5, this is a brilliant opportunity to get messy! 25th November - 1st January The magical world of Narnia this Christmas at Leeds Castle. This Christmas join us for our enchanting festive experience, bringing the beloved story of “The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe” to life. The whole family will embark on a magical journey through the wardrobe as they take in the wonder of Christmas in Narnia. Every Sunday in February Snowdrop Day at Gatton Park Park and gardens are open to view a spectacular display of snowdrops. Heralds of spring and a sure sign that warmer weather is on the way. Gatton Hall is open for cake and refreshments, plus a small plant sale. 10th – 18th February Eco week at Hever Castle This February half term, we want to educate and inspire future generations to be more sustainable and encourage our community to take part in this Eco Week event to demonstrate their support for our planet. During Eco Week, you will be able to take part in a fun activity. You can also discover more about what Hever Castle does so well to be so environmentally friendly and sustainable. 5

On a sunny October day, I had the privilege of meeting the talented cast before they delved into rehearsals. The experience left me brimming with anticipation for what promises to be a spectacular show. The cast shone brightly as they gave us a taste of what's in store. Keith Jack, known for his BBC1 Any Dream Will Do appearance and playing Prince Joseph in this year’s pantomime, serenaded us with the title song of the same name, instantly proving why he was a popular choice for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Meanwhile Harriet Bacon, playing the Wicked Queen and donning a sparkling pink dress matched with wickedly enchanting horns, wowed us with her rendition of 'Queen of the Night.' Their exceptional voices assured us that this Christmas’ performance would be nothing short of extraordinary. Yet, what struck me just as much as their incredible talent was their approachable and friendly nature. The entire cast exuded warmth and camaraderie, promising a panto filled with laughter and joy, a delight for all who attend. This sneak preview of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs showcased not only exceptional performers but also a close-knit group dedicated to creating an unforgettable show. The sense of unity and shared enthusiasm was truly infectious. Embark on a magical journey this holiday season as Dorking Halls presents Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. This dazzling Christmas pantomime is set to illuminate the beautiful art deco theatre with 21 enchanting performances from Dec. 16 to Dec. 28. Produced by the renowned Enchanted Entertainment, the show features an all-star cast, including Chris Casserly returning to the Dorking Halls stage as the hilarious Dame Dotty, Ellena Bacon as Snow White and Elizabeth Moore charming us as the Good Fairy.
