Raring2go! WHAT’S ON 6 10th April Farnham Classic & Vintage Car Show Come along and see a wide range of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles and ex-Army vehicles. There will also be an autojumble for you to browse, and refreshments which will raise money for Phyllis Tuckwell. Free entry, however donations are welcome. 11th – 14th April Birdworld’s Easter Egg-stravaganza – Farnham It’s almost time for Birdworld’s Easter EGG- stravaganza! You might notice some scaly visitors making an appearance on selected days this year… Dinosaurs are coming back to life at Birdworld between the 11th and 14th of April, and guests will be able to get up close and personal with these very special visitors on Birdworld’s Dino Days. Every other day throughout Easter, Birdworld Guests will be able to take part in a free Easter-egg Hunt Trail, meet the fuzzy and fluffy residents of Birdworld’s Jenny Wren Farm and see animals in action with daily Talks & Animal Feeds. 11th – 22nd April Easter Create & Grow – Squires Garden Centres Visit one of our centres* for some Easter holiday fun for the little ones! Our Create & Grow activities are running from 9:30am – 2pm from Monday 11 – Friday 22 April 2022 on weekdays only. Enjoy planting a bright pot with beautiful plants. Take it home or give as a lovely Easter gift! 12th April Easter Wreath Making – Haslemere Hub Easter Egg Wreath Making 10:30-11:30 £3 per child (age 3+) - Come and make your own Easter Wreath and decorate it with pom poms, easter stickers and all your favourite art and craft bits! Please book by emailing deeza. thehub@gmail.com 15th - 18th April Ēostre with the Anglo-Saxons - Butser Ancient Farm, Honour the ancient celebration of Ēostre with your ancestors this Easter weekend and welcome back the spring at Butser Ancient Farm. The Anglo-Saxons of Herigeas Hundas will be greeting the new season in honour of the ancient goddess, Ēostre as this special time of year. They’ll also be bringing to life both our original and second, newly opened, reconstructions of Anglo Saxon Hall – houses from Hampshire! There will also be exciting combat displays throughout the weekend, visitors can come face to face with terrifying warriors as they do battle in the shield wall and come under fire from skilled archers. 15th April Wizard of Oz - Camberley Theatre Join Dorothy as she goes on a magical adventure to the Land of Oz. This spectacular, pantomimic, colourful story is packed with hilarious jokes, dazzling dance routines, glittering scenery and plenty more for all the family, plus at the end of the show you will have a chance to meet the larger than life characters! 16th & 17th April Breakfast with the Easter Bunny - Jakes Playworld The Easter Bunny is on his way down to Jake’s on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th April. Come down for breakfast to meet him and enjoy plenty of fun and games for all ages! 20th April Twirlywoos Live - The Haymarket The Twirlywoos are back for a great big adventure! Join Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy, Chick, and their friends as they discover the wonderful world around us! Expect mischief, music, and plenty of surprises, when they set sail in their big red boat. 22nd April Slime - Farnham Maltings Being a slug is hard. Everyone thinks you’re disgusting. Slug and Caterpillar are starving, and the only leaf left in the garden is just out of reach. Slug thinks they should work together. Caterpillar has other ideas. Things get sticky. Enter the undergrowth to squish, squelch and play your way through this hilarious, surreal show for 2-5 years and their families, told with a handful of words and lots of slime.
