Suitable for ages 6+ 6th April The Bubble Show, Farnham Maltings Join Mr. Bubbles with his extraordinary soap bubbles in all shapes and sizes! The Bubble Show is a unique blend of magic, storytelling, science and bubble art! 7th April Hollycombe Steam in the Country Opens! If you’ve not been before this is one for the list this Spring! The Hollycombe Steam Collection is a collection of steam-powered vehicles, amusement rides, and attractions in Liphook, just off the A3. It The collection includes fairground rides, a display farm, two railways and woodland gardens. It is run by volunteers and is open from April through to October. Friday 7th, Saturday 8th & Monday 10th April Easter Trail at Albury Vineyard We are excited to open the vineyard for Easter! Our self-guided vineyard tour features stunning views over the Surrey Hills and is a great way to find out more about English wine. Kids will love our Easter themed trail with a chocolate treat at the end. The vineyard Easter trail will be running on the 7th, 8th and 10th April - save the date! 7th - 9th April Room on the Broom - Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford Jump on board the broom with the witch and her cat in Tall Stories’ fun-filled adaptation of Room on the Broom, the best-selling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Will there ever be room on the broom for everyone? Find out in the magical Olivier Award nominated show for everyone aged 3 and up. 7th – 10th April Easter at West Green House On Easter weekend, an Easter Bunny hunt leads the children on trails through the 10 acre garden, with a traditional Easter treat at the end of the ‘adventure’. On the Saturday and Easter Sunday as well as our Easter Bunny hunt, the children will be able to visit the petting zoo. The Tea Room is open for teas and lunch and will be serving our spring menu. 2nd April Ascot’s Spring Family Raceday Our first family raceday of 2023 offers a thrilling combination of top class racing and free countryside themed activities for racegoers of all ages. The final fixture of Ascot’s Jumps season, the card features something for everybody with a valuable juvenile hurdle as well as a Veterans’ Chase for the popular older horses. There will be plenty of action on and off the track and children can explore the racecourse in a safe environment with free fun attractions. Including face painting, pony rides, ferret racing, balloon modellers, and so much more. Tickets from £25 per person, under 18s go free with a full paying adult. 14th April Artbox Easter Workshop- Farnham Maltings A fun day learning how to create a collection of seasonal inspired mixed media work, full of drawing, painting, and collage. It celebrates the amazing wildlife around us and makes big things feel possible. 22nd & 23rd April Fleecy Frolics Lambing Weekend – Merrist Wood College, Guildford The College’s annual lambing event, held across two days, is a celebration of nature and countryside crafts. Visitors can meet our lambs, watch countryside craft demos, visit the farm, shop for homemade gifts, animal handling and more. Tickets sell out fast so book quickly! 1st May Bluey at Birdworld Bluey will be making her debut appearance at Birdworld, appearing at intervals throughout the day.
