Meet Santa in the Planetarium at Cosmic Christmas and enjoy the sights, sounds and science of Christmas past…way past…at Science Dino-mite. Santa’s back in the Planetarium this festive season! Between Saturday 16th and Saturday 23rd December families are invited to blast into Cosmic Christmas, a live-action immersive space adventure where live science, magical effects and an out-of-this-world journey through space will bring a brand new original Christmas tale to life. Then, the anticipation will build as children get to meet Santa himself and receive a special Christmas gift. Families will be sure to make memories this Christmas that will propel them to the stars and back! It’s going to be a Cosmic Christmas! Inside the Science Centre, our Dino Rangers have sprinkled prehistoric cheer for a Jurassic adventure at Science Dino-mite on weekends and school holidays between Saturday 1 December 2023 and Tuesday 2nd January 2024. Enjoy a roar-cus festive season filled with T-Riffic fun and dino-mite demos. Families can join the excavation team in Dino Dig, handle some real fossils in Dino Discovery, meet Trixie the baby Triceratops, find the hidden dinosaurs in the Dino Activity Trail and be wowed by live science in The Dino Show – all free with admission. And there’s not just prehistoric activities to get involved in, there’ll also be two live Planetarium shows, huge live science demos and awesome interactive exhibits to excite and inspire all ages.
