This is a free page donated to a local charity chosen by you. St Michaels Hospice, Hereford were delighted to be chosen, you can see them on page 27. Voting for the next local charity to receive a free page in the summer edition opens soon. Visit the facebook page to nominate your favourite local charities, and head over to the competitions pages of our website to cast your vote. One final thank you to all the local businesses who kindly support the magazine - we could not do it without them. Do pay them a visit this spring. Wishing you all a wonderful time!

BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FAMILIES Brilliant age-appropriate books reviewed by a growing army of brilliant junior reviewers www.raring2go.co.uk Raring2go! would like to thank LoveReading4Kids, for this wonderful review. LoveReading4Kids, the UK’s leading children’s book recommendation website, is now a bookstore with social purpose, where 25% of the cover price can be donated to a school to buy books. Because books change lives. Buy a Book. Support a School. Make a Difference. To buy this book visit: www.lovereading4kids.co.uk This book hooks you in from the very start. Fans of comicstyle books will love this and won't want to put it down. Chicken Hill is a place where Ferdy, Gripper and Tink (who aren't chickens), live and they have to try to save the world from UFO's, Zombie Cactus' and escape the clutches of King Frog. Their adventures take them as far as Mexico where they get caught in a battle and find weird things. My favourite story was Attack of the Zombie Cactus because it made me laugh out loud, especially the bit where they put slime on the gnome. The illustrations are great and give great details so the characters almost seem real. I would definitely recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next book. Big thanks to Seth, age 10 for this fantastic review! “ I just couldn't see how it could get any better, but it did. A must for everyone's book collection “
