CLUBS AND CLASSES 22 Carry On Clubs Online options for children’s activities Many of our local clubs have adapted so that they can still provide activities for children during the current restrictions. If your child wants to try a new hobby in 2021, take a look at these local options: MARTIAL ARTS: Kick start this new year with a wide range of exciting Taekwondo and fitness classes. Jump in with our ONLINE classes with multiple training options available. DANCE: Established since 2009 by Miss Becky, this is a fun, informal dance school, based in Norton, Stourbridge. During lockdown classes have switched to online sessions - you can't keep a good dancer down! Michelle Whyley's community dance workshops are full of fun and laughter and are a good way to stay fit and healthy. Classes are usually held at Baxter College and Areley Kings Hall but have continued online during the restrictions. SCOUTS AND GUIDES: Many children's groups have adapted to hold their weekly sessions on Zoom. Find your local Scout group here. Click for Guides. TUTOR: have centres in both Kingswinford an d Stourbridge. They have adapted their lessons to provide online support and are now offering free registration until March! DRAMA: (PQA) The academy usually operates on Saturdays (9.45am-1pm ), at Redhill School, Stourbridge. Each week students have sessions in comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television The PQA Virtual Academy has allowed children to continue to learn each week via Zoom.
