Visit London Wetland Centre for a day of exploration and discovery that will put all of your senses to the test. To succeed as a Duck Detective and complete the Easter trail, you’ll need to get closer than ever to nature. It’s time to investigate underwater mysteries. Follow tracks to work out who’s been creeping around at night. And use everything from feather bird calls to animal poo (honestly!) to reveal the wildlife secrets only a true Duck Detective knows. Are you ready for the challenge? The WWT London team has planned the following activities for Easter for different age ranges: • Duck Detectives trail £1, available from Admissions. Suitable for all the family • Colour Hunt trail card Free, specifically for under 5s. Search for different colours springing up around the wetlands. • Pond dipping 11.00 and 14.00 drop-in session. Investigate the creatures that live under the water. Who are the usual suspects? Snails, beetles maybe even a newt? Suitable for all ages • Plant detectives 13.00 (duration 30min) Wetland Living, drop-in session. Use your sleuthing skills to learn how to identify five plants from only their leaves!
