Aqua Babies & Kiddies Surrey Swim School have proudly served families across Surrey for more than eight years, and we are delighted to now bring our globally recognised teaching approach to Chessington and the surrounding areas. As an internationally recognised leader in baby and children’s swimming and a trusted 5-star swim school, we have built a strong reputation for helping swimmers gain confidence, develop excellent technique, and make visible progress in a calm, supportive environment. Alongside our children’s programme, we also offer adult swimming lessons, Aquafit, lane swimming, and family swim sessions. A trip to Puttify at Guildford Spectrum turned out to be one of those rare family outings where everyone genuinely had a good time - including the adults. We went along with four children aged between four and eight and, from the moment we arrived, they were completely hooked. Puttify is definitely not your traditional crazy golf course. There are no pirate ships, windmills or tiny pencils here. Instead, it’s bright, modern and interactive, with automatic scoring that means parents don’t have to spend the whole game trying to remember who got a four on the last hole. A small miracle in itself! The course feels much more fast-paced than regular mini golf and that worked perfectly for our group. Each hole was different enough to keep the children excited, but not so tricky that anyone became frustrated. Even the youngest, aged four, happily made it all the way around without losing interest - which honestly might be the best review any family attraction could ask for! One of the biggest wins for us was the length of the game. The whole experience took about 40 minutes, which felt just right. Long enough to feel like a proper outing and worth the money, but short enough to avoid the inevitable “I’m hungry” or “Can we go now?” halfway through. Parents everywhere will understand. Because it’s all indoors, it’s also a brilliant option for rainy weekends, after-school treats or when you need to burn off some energy without committing to an entire day out. The atmosphere is fun and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the technology gives it a slightly futuristic feel that the children absolutely loved. Guildford Spectrum already has plenty going on for families, but Puttify feels like a really great addition. It’s easy, entertaining and just different enough from normal crazy golf to make it feel special. Judging by the excitement levels on the drive home, we’ll definitely be back for another round soon! You’re a Bad Man, Mr Gum! is a really funny book. My favourite part was when Jake the big dog was saved by some magical dolphin chocolate. My favourite character was Polly because she really cares about Jake the big dog. I’ve read other books in this series and this is the best one! I really liked the extra bonus material for the 20th anniversary edition, especially seeing the original illustrations for the book and the original ending because they made me laugh. I would recommend this book for children who like funny stories. Review by ABI, aged 9 You’re a Bad Man, Mr. GUM! by Andy Stanton Five stars. COULD YOU BE THE NEWEST EDITOR OF RARING2GO!? We are looking to recruit new Editors to our network. Could it be YOU!? Have you ever dreamed of running your own business, making your own decisions, and shaping your work to fit around your family life? Fourteen years ago, that’s exactly what I did. With a corporate career in IT and project management, when I was made redundant, I couldn’t imagine returning to a 9-5 in London with a long daily commute. I still wanted to work, but I also wanted to spend time with the family, allowing me to be at school events, do the swim and dance runs, and be available in school holidays. Raring2go! turned out to be the perfect solution! What’s life like as a Raring2go! publisher? You’ll be your own boss, but with the full support of the Raring2go! franchise behind you - there’s always someone to turn to for advice when you need it. The role is varied, with sales, web updates, and all aspects of getting the Raring2go! magazine to print part of the day to day. No previous experience is required, though a love of your local community, a good eye for detail, and a can-do attitude will definitely help. The role typically takes an average of about 20 - 25 hours a week, and the best part is you choose when you work, so it fits easily around family life. The Raring2go! franchise This is a business opportunity, that requires a financial investment, with franchise opportunities in SW London and Surrey for new Editors to run their own business. Can I really have a career and still be there for my family? Absolutely! Not only has Raring2go! given me the opportunity to reset my work/life balance, we have also been lucky enough to try out so many fantastic activities and days out - discovering wonderful places, reviewing attractions, shows, classes and more along the way. So, if you’ve always dreamed of working for yourself and would love the chance to join an established franchise network, I would love to hear from you. Contact me for a friendly chat on 07858 751776 or email esherandweybridge@raring2go.co.uk

Visiting the local showroom also gives you access to expert advice from experienced designers who can help you visualise the possibilities and plan your makeover. The team provides free home surveys and design consultations, plus full supply and installation services, often with installations completed in just 2 - 3 days. Overall, updating your kitchen doors is a clever, quicker, and more affordable way to breathe new life into your kitchen — and the Kingston & Epsom showroom is the perfect place to start your transformation journey. Refreshing your kitchen doesn’t have to mean undertaking a full renovation. By simply replacing your kitchen doors and worktops, you can achieve a stunning transformation that feels like a brand-new kitchen, but at a much lower cost than buying an entirely new fitted kitchen. The team at Dream Doors Kingston & Epsom specialises in this smart, cost-effective approach, helping homeowners across the Kingston, Epsom, Weybridge, and surrounding Surrey areas update their kitchens with minimal disruption and budget impact. Dream Doors - New Life for Old Kitchens One of the biggest advantages of choosing new kitchen doors is the significant cost savings. Because you keep your existing cabinet carcasses and simply replace the doors and worktops, you avoid the expense of ripping out units and purchasing a whole new kitchen. This can work out to up to 50% less than a full kitchen replacement, making it an attractive option for anyone looking to modernise their space without overspending.
