Local activities for children with additional needs and disabilities Sensory Sessions at The Space Centre Our Sensory Sessions offer an accessible way to engage with our collection through touch, sound, and smell. A trained member of our Space Communications team will lead the experience, tailoring the pace and structure to meet individual needs. They are 30 minutes long and may include activities such as Meteorite Handling, the Smells of Space and Mars Map Exploration. These sessions are designed for visitors with additional needs who would benefit from a more tailored, multi-sensory experience. They are not available as an add-on to a standard visit.
