I’m Alex, your new local editor of Raring2go!, and I’m so excited to share my very first edition with you. You’ll spot me in the photo with my little boy, Alfie, who keeps life endlessly entertaining - and often inspires the ideas you’ll find in these pages! At home, I’m lucky to have a wonderful husband, Marc, and my lovely step-daughter, Amber. This winter issue is packed full of festive fun, local events, and brilliant ideas to keep families busy through the festive season and into the new year. Whether you’re looking for Santa visits, days out, crafts to do at home, or ways to beat the January blues, there’s plenty here to make the season magical. As a parent myself, I know how special these months can be - a little chaotic, often messy, but full of moments that make the best memories.
