You’ll be sur- prised by how many tents just like yours there will be pitched! Insect repellent There is nothing that the mini beasts of England like better than damp fields and barbecues. Waterproof clothing You may think this is a bit excessive but if the weather turns (and you know it can) you’ll be thankful for this tip! Sunscreen You can get burnt even on a cloudy day in England. Ear protectors / plugs These are great to protect little ones from loud music, but earplugs also mute the sound of late night chatter from neighbouring campers. A mini paddling pool If the weather is warm it helps to cool the kids down and keep them clean (ish).
