Only a few weeks left to go before the arrival of the most exciting day of the year! To make it through November and December with your sanity intact, you have to be on your toes, as one thing then another keeps popping up. And to top it all, we have to contend with Covid and all the upheaval it continues to bring. Don’t feel alone if you find that it is all becoming a bit much - because it is! We all feel it. So how best to keep calm and carry on? Enjoy all that is Christmas! Take your family to the Enlightened show at Staunton Farm - there is an amazing talking tree and fairies flying in cages! And nothing says ‘Bring on Winter’ more than ice-skating. Portsmouth on Ice at the Guildhall is a perfect day out for all the family and should not be missed. Gunwharf Quays has some amazing events taking place in December, from scout Elf to Christmas market stalls. Lastly, don’t miss the terrific books reviewed by our local bookstore Pigeon Books who are based in Southsea. Perfect reads for kids at anytime of the year!
