Reading opens up a world where there are no boundaries, and where imagination rules. At Raring2go! we support family reading initiatives. For us anything that encourages children to put down the screen and pick up a book (comics and audio books count too) is a massive plus. Joining our Raring2Read! group is open to anyone and everyone who loves to read. Our book review this issue comes from 7 year old Jenny. She reviewed ‘Dinosaurs and other Prehistoric Creatures’ by Matt Sewell. Massive thanks to Jenny for her time and words. ‘I like this book because it has nice pictures and interesting facts. My favourite dinosaur is the Lameosaurus because my best toy is Lamby. The book has 50 dinosaurs in it. The most scariest is the T-Rex, he had big teeth and tiny arms. The Lameosaurus had a strange head. Maybe it made a noise like a trumpet. It had big legs. It was red and brown. I wish I could eat grass. But I do not want a trumpet on my head. Neither does Mum. He is a herbivore and he was 3300kg, which is super-heavy. He was 9- 15m long’. Raring2Read!
