There will be special Medieval-themed activities with armoured combats and battle stories in the second week of the holidays. Royal Armouries are delighted to be able to bring live-action jousting to the heart of Yorkshire this Easter bank holiday weekend. From Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April the museum’s impressive jousting arena will resound to the cheers of crowds and the clash of lances on armour, as knights battle it out in an authentic medieval jousting tournament. Being a trolleybus geek isn’t a requirement - there’s alot of other work needs doing, from carpentry, building maintenance, gardening through to running our Cafe on open days.
