Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing Aunt and saves the family home. Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work! www.heartbreakproductions. co.uk 9 July (10am) Ernest and Celestine + workshop - Showroom Cinema See page 7 www.showroomworkstation. org.uk/cinema 9 & 10 July Together in the Square - Tudor Square Join us for the return of Together in the Square, an outdoor weekend of free events! This event is free to attend and does not require booking. Together in the Square is made possible by the support of Sheffield City Council. www.sheffeldtheatres.co.uk 9 July (1pm, 3pm) The Big Hillsborough Poetry Picnic - Hillsborough Park A Poetry Picnic is a snack heavy celebration of music and poetry, with acclaimed children’s poet Simon Mole and brilliant musician Gecko. They’ll play fun (and quite silly) games to get to know each other and build your confidence and skill with words, then help you pen a poem with the power to send your picnic blanket skywards. And they’ll play some Beatles meets the Beastie Boys style bangers of their own, too. www.gatheringground.uk 9 & 10 July Peter Pan 2022 - June D Gill School of Theatre Dance - Sheffield City Hall A spectacular production in drama, song & dance of this much loved Fairytale.
