Metal Miners Check - Use metalsmithing tools to fabricate your own personalised brass check and discover why they were used for safety. £5 per child. Action-Packed Summer (Royal Armouries Museum) - 26 July to 3 Sept - Charge down to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds for an action-packed free day out this summer. Watch a free horse show in the outdoor arena and see expert riders demonstrating Tudor riding skills and historical cavalry drills. Inside the museum visitors can enjoy live-action combat demonstrations featuring characters and weaponry from various periods in history. Big Screen Weekend (Sherwood Forest) - 2730 July - Thursday - Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Friday – Moana & Dirty Dancing, Sunday – The Gruffalo, The Stickman, Disney’ Robin Hood & Robin Hood (2010) Bring a blanket or chairs.
