WHAT’S ON? 16 – 18 July Solihull Town Centre – ‘Sort of’ Jazz Festival The hugely popular Solihull ‘sort of’ Jazz Festival returns to the town centre and is all set to be better than ever! The main stage in Mell Square and a number of venues across Solihull town centre will be hosting music across the weekend with a Continental Food & Drink Market accompanying the tunes. It’s been a tough 12 months for us all so get back into Solihull and let your hair down with some fantastic music, food and drink! The giant 8 acre maize maze has a fun Quiz Trail hidden amongst its 3 miles of pathways, with high level bridges and towers giving stunning panoramic views. Visitors have to find 12 quiz boards which will test their knowledge on other mythical creatures and can also take part in a variety of mini mazes and games in the Activity Funyard, which includes a space-hopper track, hoopla, beanbag throwing and a football shooting game. www.wistow.com 20/ 28 July & 6 August The Chocolate Shed – Summer workshops Chocolate Making Workshops for children in the Warwickshire chocolaterie for children to come and celebrate the joy of making hand-made chocolates. During this season’s workshops children will have the opportunity to come and try their hand at chocolate making and make some delicious chocolatey treats to take home with them and enjoy. Well yes, many a car designer and engineer has taken inspiration from nature, so you are invited to explore the car collection with Adventure Annie or Alex and discover how nature has played its part. Young explorers can also enjoy our Museum ‘nature trail’ to seek out the cars that bloom, squawk and roar and then let off steam outside on the adventure playground. There is also a new exhibition to visit and a goody bag to take home.
