Step into a world of wonder and adventure as Solihull town centre is turned into a vibrant playground! If you were lucky enough to meet Moby the 18-metre-long inflatable whale at last year’s ‘A Whale’s Tale’ you will know how amazing the interactive theatre sessions were. Due to popular demand, Moby will be back on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August. Sessions are free but will need to be booked. Marvel at displays from living history re-enactment groups, take to the field as part of an interactive Battle Drill, or explore the Roman village. Refreshments will be available from local food vendors, plus replica Roman goods will be on sale in the living history village! Summer 2024 3 – 4 August Jephson Gardens – Art in the Park Festival A free curated arts festival with a difference. They showcase, sell and provide live demonstrations from artists and craftspeople in Warwickshire and the Midlands. Celebrate independent local and regional food and drink. The best live music, dance and theatre from our own doorstep alongside nationally and internationally renowned companies. Play in the Victorian kitchen, dance and dress up in the ballroom, play instruments and sing in the music room, test your building skills and build a giant cardboard fort, cosy up in teepees and get reading, play with replica Victorian toys, meet our school mistress in the Victorian schoolroom, get creative with outdoor painting and play with our garden games plus much, much more.
