Bring your friends and family along for screams and thrills! Get spooked as you explore rooms at St Johns House, see them as you’ve never seen them before. Discover the creepy story of Hansel and Gretel, go on a trail and hope the witch isn’t in the kitchen! Make slime to take home and get messy making potions and enjoy messy play. Adult tickets include a hot drink from Pickled & Tipsy Mobile Café, so you can sit back while your children make potions and slime. Undercover seated area available. Autumn 2023 28 – 31 October Black Country Living Museum – Halloween Nights Prepare to be spooked as the Museum opens its doors to little devils and ghouls! Bring the whole family along to enjoy a night of trick or treats around the historic shops and houses and experience thrilling street entertainment. There’s plenty to get stuck into: brave the creepy crawlies and animals, meet the spooky characters – including circus performers, fire-jugglers and magicians – and put on your ghoulish dancing shoes. Don’t forget to join in the costume parade; there are prizes to be won for both adults and children for the bestdressed monstrous visitor. www.bclm.com 28 October – 5 November Stratford Butterfly Farm – Spooky Half Term There are plenty of creepie crawlies as well as hundreds of beautiful tropical butterflies to keep the whole family entertained this October half term. In Minibeast Metropolis discover an assortment of poison dart frogs, spiders, medicinal leeches, axolotl, and slithering snakes. In Rainforest Realm you will find a magnificent spectacled caiman and a Malagasy giant chameleon! Butterfly Lifecycle, MiniBeast and Pupae Demonstrations will be held daily at 11:00 in the Discovery Zone. 28-31 October join the team in dressing up for Halloween, the spookier the costume the better! www.butterflyfarm.co.uk 30 October – 3 November Thinktank – Fright at the Museum and Spooky Science Family Night Prepare for a monstrous show full to the brim with freaky facts and spooky science. Showing off some of our favourite live science experiments, this family show has something for visitors of all ages. Shows at 11.30am - 12.00pm and 1pm - 1.30pm on in the Theatre on Level 3. Included in the admission price. On 31 October, join the annual Spooky Science Family Night! Explore the museum after dark, take part in spooky activities on each of our floors and even have your photo taken in our Photo Studio.
