5 25th — 28th October Batford Half Term Trail A self - led trail will be set up across Batford Springs where participants will be able to follow the map and find facts about the reserve and its wildlife. OCTOBER 14th October Tots Tales A story, craft activity and a museum hunt, inspired by a popular story at Verulamium Museum Suitable for children aged 2 - 4 years, accompanied by an adult. 2nd & 3rd October Shuttleworth Race Weekend Classic racing cars will thunder down the runways followed on the air show day by the finest racing aircraft of the period, including the winning de Havilland DH88 Comet. 16th October Half Term Halloween Spook-tacular Big Beat Playground come bursting back with their Family Friendly Boutique Festival this October Half Term. A fun - filled party for everyone to enjoy themselves and smile, dance and have fun together. All within a family - friendly environment. Fancy dress optional but prizes will be given! 22nd October — 7th November The Big Trunk Trail If you missed these beautifully decorated elephants in the free, fun, family - friendly art trail around Luton this summer, there will be a final chance to view the elephants en masse at ticketed farewell events at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and Stockwood Discovery Centre 27th — 30th October The Ghostly Gardener Meet Vernon. He ’ s worked at Wardown Park for as long as anyone can remember, and he ’ s got plenty of stories to tell, ranging from the mystical to the downright spooky! Join Vernon for a night of local ghost stories, strange happenings and trip down memory lane. 16th & 17th October Family Mini Shoot Sessions Let us capture your children giggling as they throw leaves at each other, kicking through the leaves or simply skipping down the path. 16th October Lockers Park Open Morning Take a tour of our beautiful grounds and buildings, meet the Headmaster and teachers, talk to the team, watch (and take part in!) live lessons, watch a School Play rehearsal and Chapel Choir performance, meet our school pets Snakespeare the Corn Snake and Isaac the Beaded Dragon. 15th October Beechwood Park Open Morning Tour the School with our pupil guides, meet key members of staff, and listen to the Head speak about the School. You will, of course, be able to ask any questions you may have about admission to the School.
