This two hour session will begin with a brief tour of the Sarehole Mill grounds as we hear how J.R.R. Tolkien was inspired by the site. We’ll then you will be guided through the fundamentals of story telling and comic book techniques that will help you tell your own unique and engaging story. Use collage, watercolour and ink to create vibrant and exciting pictures to imagine impossible and fantastic worlds and adventures. Visitors have the chance to explore the sculpture, experiencing the beauty of light and colour as they move through a dazzling maze of domes, columns and tunnels of the Luminarium.
