Step into the iconic sets from the Harry Potter film series in a spookier setting as the lights dim and the stage is set for Halloween… Experience Halloween as if you were a Hogwarts student, by stepping into the Great Hall with over 100 pumpkins floating above a spooky feast; follow the dark mark of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and learn wand combat with the Death Eaters’ procession through the Studio Tour in a menacing display. Pumpkin Festival, at Willows Activity Farm 14th, 15th, 19th – 31st October Pick your pumpkin from Willow’s Pumpkin Patch and enjoy a full programme of pumpkin-tastic fun! They will have 1000’s of Willows-grown pumpkins for children to pick. There’s also a Pumpkin Hunt for you all to enjoy with a prize badge for all those taking part. A day out at Willows’ Pumpkin Festival wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Gourds Grotto – get your Instagramable photos with their weird and wonderful Gourds, squashes, and pumpkin scenes. Spookfest, at Aldenham Country Park 14th – 31st October Spook-Fest has returned for 2023! Discover frightfully fun offerings such as Pumpkin Picking & Carving, Horrid Hay Tractor Ride, Spooky Trail, Pumpkin Bingo, Monster Bale Play and Giant Puzzles! Dinos After Dark, at Paradise Wildlife Park 20th – 22nd October / 27th – 29th October The event runs from 5:30pm to 8:30pm each night during the spooktacular Halloween season. Halloween, at Blenheim Palace 20th – 29th October A spooky, fun-filled, after dark trail for all the family this half term with new thrills and chills for 2023! As Halloween creeps closer and the days shorten, there’s a chill in the air at Blenheim Palace where ghosts, ghouls and witches get ready to deliver a whole host of tricks and treats along a spooktacular trail. Wander from dusk into darkness and through the spooky spider tunnel to be surprised by fantastic fire performers as you watch out for the headless horseman emerging from the mist. Discover scary scarecrows, listen to the werewolves’ howl and dodge the grinning pumpkins as you approach the Vampires crypt but beware, you don’t know what fanged monster lurks inside….
