FESTIVAL GUIDE FESTIVAL GUIDE 5th – 6th July Chilfest is set to provide a summer fullycharged and loaded with retro legends. In what is arguably our best ever line-up, 80s new wave band OMD will be topping the bill with their immense back catalogue of synth sensations. The Chiltern Hills are sure to be rocking along with the acts, with so many back-to-back hits. It’s going to be a party not to miss! 6th July Join in at the M Festival for a fantastic day of live music, food/drink and activities ending with a firework finale. They will have an awesome array of activities including funfair rides, as well as a number of activities for the little ones! 12th – 13th July The super family friendly fest was set up to celebrate the best of the Herts countryside, live music and good fun in the sun. They’ve got 80 artists lined up – including tributes and local ones to watch, plus folk and rock acts – over 3 days on 5 stages. There’ll also be great food on offer, DJ after parties plus a kids’ arena with loads of activities, vintage funfair and a new ‘wellness in the woods’ area. 13th July Introducing Wild Oak Meadows, a new one day family festival coming to At Home Farm in Hertfordshire this summer. Expect a glorious fun filled day of kids theatre, live music, storytelling, crafting, creative workshops, forest school activities, tree climbing, zip lining, face painting and more. With locally sourced seasonal food, delicious beverages on tap, and a unique programme of entertainment and activities that will delight both young ones and the young at heart, Wild Oak Meadows will be an unforgettable adventure for the whole family. 20th July A summer celebration with music, fireworks, Spitfire, cannons and cavalry! Pack up a picnic, stock up on fizz and join us for an afternoon and evening of sublime music and dramatic displays at the 23rd annual Hatfield Park Battle Proms Concert. 20th – 21st July The Great British Food Festival is back again bringing amazing artisan producers, scrumptious street food, brilliant bars and live entertainment this July. The perfect recipe for a fun, foodie, family day out! Tickets to this event also include access to Knebworth Park, Gardens, Adventure Playground with Fort Knebworth and Dinosaur Trail. 31st July The Big JiveSwing Festival is one of the UK’s largest FREE Jazz Festivals. It’s a great family day out with live cabarets, dance classes for children and adults and a vintage photo booth! This year there will also be a children’s area with bouncy castle, merry go round, ice cream, popcorn, candyfloss and more. There will also be a variety of food & drink vendors on site and there will also be vintage stalls on the day too.
