Follow Mog's trail through the farm and help her with her chores along the way. Don't forget to take pictures with Mog's catflap and see if you can find her in the maze. Judith Kerr’s playful stories featuring Mog will be the inspiration behind the fun trail in the Mansion. When it’s finally time to play – Mog loses her bunny in the mansion – can you follow the trail to discover where it is? www.tattonpark.org.uk Until 5th November Fungi Friends: a family trail, Dunham Massey National Trust Talk a walk around the Dunham Massey Park accompanied by Little Mouse and discover a collection of fascinating facts about fungi. www.nationaltrust.org.uk Until end December 2023 Fairy Tales, Z-Arts An interactive world of play and storytelling. Step into a fairy tale town and through into the woods to discover a world of giants, palaces, gingerbread houses and treasure caves. Trip trap over a bridge (but watch out for the troll!), join in the palace disco with the musicians of Bremen, sit in a giant’s footprint, visit the market and help Jack win some magic beans, and much more. www.z-arts.org/events/fairy-tales/ Until 1st January 2024 (Closed Mondays) Julia and Axel - Thirty Years of Favourite Stories, The Lowry This free family-friendly exhibition will feature several of Julia Donaldson’s personal writing notebooks; containing the very first ideas and creative thinking behind her picture book stories. These will be shown alongside Axel Scheffler’s artwork, showing the process of his illustrations from sketches and works in progress, to full page final illustrations that readers are familiar with seeing in the finished books. Throughout the exhibition there will be lots of fun opportunities for children to be creative themselves as they are guided to write their own stories, draw pictures, dress up, and play fun games inspired by the books.
