Raring2go! WHATS ON, VEGANUARY, WINTER ACTIVITIES AND WALKS 26 What is Veganuary? Veganuary is a popular annual campaign and movement that encourages people to try a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. The name "Veganuary" is a combination of "vegan" and "January." The goal of Veganuary is to raise awareness about the ethical, environmental, and health benefits of a vegan diet and lifestyle. During Veganuary, participants pledge to abstain from consuming any animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, and honey, for the entire month of January. The campaign provides resources, recipes, and support to help people make the transition to a vegan diet and to discover the variety and deliciousness of plantbased foods. Veganuary has gained widespread popularity and has inspired many individuals to adopt a more plant-based diet, or even become vegan permanently after trying it for a month. It has also contributed to increased awareness of the impact of food choices on animal welfare and the environment. 1 raring2go.co.uk Raring2go! 15th January Brew Monday Today is supposed to be the day we are mainly feeling blue.
