Halloween Happy Hauntings - Fishers Farm Saturday 23rd - Sunday 31st October Halloween Happy Hauntings – a week of spooky, ‘cackle-tastic’ fun awaits you and all the family this October half term! Hallo’welly’ween Family Shows - Wellington Country Park Saturday 23rd - Sunday 31st October Visit us at Welly Park for Hallo’welly’ween, a week of Halloween fun for all the family! Join us in our Big Top Show Tents for our wickedly wonderful Halloween shows and carve a pumpkin with us at our Pumpkin Patch. The Pop Up Play Village is also back for Hallo’welly’ween. Get stuck in with fizzy pumpkin experiments, the Mud Kitchen, make your own slime and much much more! IGNITE - Polesden Lacey Friday 22nd October – Sunday 7th November A new after-dark experience is coming to the Edwardian gardens at the National Trust’s Polesden Lacey this autumn. Visitors will have the chance to see Polesden Lacey like never before as twilight falls, the IGNITE magic begins. Expect the unexpected, with glimpses of fairies that could be dancing in lanterns, fiery fish and woodland wildlife sculpted in willow, as you stroll through an enchanting landscape. Lit by lanterns, wander between flickering flames and majestic trees – from one amazing space to another – on a quietly magical meander. The trail has been specially designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy. The Autumn Make Space - Watts Gallery Sunday 24th – Sunday 31st October Swoop in for a bewitching half term full of autumnal and creepy crafts in our enchanted Autumn woodland. Book onto the Make Space and find the Golden Oak Leaves around the Artists’ Village. Horrific Halloween! - Haslemere Museum Thursday 28 October Come along and make Halloween related crafts. Bring a pumpkin or squash to carve and take part in our Halloween procession through Haslemere, which gathers at the Museum at 4.00 pm and finishes in the town’s central car park with a treat. Family Halloween Party - Jakes Playworld Saturday 30th October Bring the whole family for an evening of spooky fun at Jake’s. Enjoy playing on the frame, food for both adults and children, some great Halloween activities along with a great “Scene setter” for some perfect “family portraits!” All followed by a family disco from 20.30—21.30. Halloween Storytelling - Rural Life Living Museum Saturday 30th October Acclaimed storyteller, Jason Buck, returns to the museum for an afternoon of spooky stories and terrifying tales. We will be running two hour long sessions, the first, 2pm-3pm is more suitable for younger children aged 7+ and the later session at 3.30pm-4.30pm will be more suitable for slightly older children aged 12+ NOVEMBER The Hug - G Live Guildford Saturday 6th November Long Nose Puppets are proud to announce their brand-new show. Based on the heart-warming and funny book The Hug by Eoin McLaughlin and Polly Dunbar. Starring a Hedgehog and a Tortoise both in search of a restorative hug. Countryside Day - Sandown Park Racecourse Sunday 7th November We mark the return of Jump racing for the 2021/22 season with a heart pounding, mud splattering afternoon of on track action coupled with entertainment for all the family to enjoy. Military Vehicles Day - Brooklands Museum Sunday 21st November Over 100 vehicles, spanning the decades and representing the field of conflict from around the world, are expected for our annual Military Vehicles Day. There will be the chance to see some of the machines put through their paces as they tackle Test Hill and the off-road circuit at Mercedes-Benz World. Adding atmosphere to the site will be the groups of war-time re-enactors from across the decades.
