Keep the young ones entertained in our extensive Kid’s Zone – including bouncy castles, climbing wall, face painting, and not forgetting our fantastic FREE circus skills workshop – led by a circus performer! 30th & 31st July Portsmouth International Kite Festival A truly spectacular free event with hundreds of kite fliers from around the world. Why are the kite fliers so keen to come? They travel to Portsmouth because the International Kite Festival is recognised as one of the best and most popular Kite Festivals in the world. It is listed as one of the biggest kite festivals in the world. AUGUST Monday 1st August – 4th September Wilderfest – Chessington World of Adventures WILDERFEST is Chessington’s annual summer festival! It’s perfect for young festival-goers - so whether its your first one ever, or your first one this year – don’t miss out on Britain’s WILDEST Festival you can be sure there will be plenty of ROARsome entertainment for all ages! Various dates in August Big Farm Sleepover - Godstone Farm With all the usual Camping fun, including exclusive activities before the farm opens and each evening after the farm closes, campers have three full days access to Godstone Farm, with dinner provided both evenings of stay and breakfast on both mornings of your stay. They will also be adding new activities, with behind the scenes animal encounters and forest school fun! Thursday 4th - Saturday 6th August David Walliams Billionaire Boy - The Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford Joe Spud is twelve years old and the richest boy in the country! Thursday 4th / 11th and 25th August Activity Thursday – The Rural Life Living Museum Activity Thursdays offer a fun-filled whole day out for the family. There are plenty of activities to take part in and demonstrations to see. Activities vary each week but their favourites remain constant – such as spinning and weaving demonstrations, wood turning demonstrations, making air propelled rockets and doing the laundry with our hand pump and wooden dollies. 9th, 10th & 13th August Camberley’s Theatre in the Park – Various Locations This year Camberley Theatre have 3 events taking place in Lightwater, Chobham and Frimley Lodge Park. Come along, rediscover summer and enjoy one of these fantastic, fun shows for all the family! The Lost Colour at Lightwater Country Park on Monday 9 August We All Wobble at Chobham Recreation Ground on Thursday 12 August and The Lion Inside at Frimley Lodge Park on Friday 13 August. All 3 shows have 12pm and 2:30pm performances. Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th August Dinosaur World Live – G Live Dare to experience the dangers and delights of Dinosaur World Live in this roarsome interactive show for all the family.
