Friday 4th August Bubble Fun at The Lightbox Join our summer-time favourite bubble making workshop and create your own bubble makers in our courtyard. An alternative workshop will take place in the Education Studio in the case of inclement weather Friday 11th – Sunday 13th August Disney’s Winnie the Pooh – The Yvonne Arnaud – Guildford Disney’s iconic Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and their best friends Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and Owl (oh... and don’t forget Tigger too!) have come to life in a beautifully crafted musical stage adaptation. Featuring the Sherman Brothers’ classic Grammy Award-winning music with further songs by A.A. Milne, this beautiful fresh stage adaptation is told with stunning life-sized puppetry through the eyes of the characters we all know and love, in a new story from the Hundred Acre Wood. Saturday 12th August Collectively Camberley Car Show – Camberley The event will showcase over 250 vehicles all across Camberley Town Centre in our unique event! The day will be filled with FREE family entertainment including live music, face painting, and balloon modelling! You’ll be greeted by our roaming street performers and live music all day in the town! Saturday 22nd July – Sunday 3rd September Summer of play at Claremont Gardens Throughout the Summer holidays, Claremont Landscape Garden is a playground with lots of things to do to while away the days. Each fortnight there will be different games to play too. Challenge your friends to a game of badminton, croquet or skittles and hop, skip, and jump your way through the garden with our skipping roles. On selected days, you can also have a go at archery and join in with family yoga sessions. To complete your day, take to the lake with our row boats which are available to hire from Thursday to Sunday throughout the Summer holiday. Saturday 22nd July – Sunday 3rd September Summer of Play at Hatchlands Park This summer try your hand at volleyball, badminton, football or tennis on the lawn at Hatchlands Park. Or challenge friends and family to a sack or space hopper race! Don’t forget to say hello to the donkeys in their new stable complete with family picnic area and early years play. Normal admission applies. No extra charge. Throughout August Hollycombe Steam in the Country Throughout August Hollycombe Steam in the Country will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Visit one of Britain’s Largest Collection of steam offering visitors a nostalgic look at how the Victorians and Edwardians used steam as an instrument of work and play, and feature a number of popular fairground sideshows of the period. They are also open bank holiday weekend, Saturday – Monday for their special Fairground Weekend Spectacular! Every Thursday throughout August Activity Thursday’s at The Rural Life Living Museum Activity Thursdays offer a fun-filled whole day out for the family. There are plenty of activities to take part in and demonstrations to see. Activities vary each week, However, our favourites remain constant – such as spinning and weaving demonstrations, wood turning demonstrations, making air propelled rockets, learning about Victorian schooling in our ‘tin hut’ classroom, doing the laundry with our hand pump and wooden dollies, free guided walks with our RSPB friends Raring2go!
