Here at Barfield Prep School we are commitment to outdoor education, providing all of our children with the opportunity to learn new skills, test their limits and, most importantly, have fun. Our incredible Three Peaks Outdoor Pursuits programme is just one strand of the facilities on offering and include both High and Low Ropes Courses, Archery Range, Climbing Wall, Treetop Zip Wire, Quad Bikes, Jacobs Ladder and a designated team building area. In addition to Adventure Lessons being timetabled throughout the week, our children love these activities as part of our extra-curricular offering. In addition to our adventure facilities, our children love the opportunity to be taught in our treehouse classroom Outdoor Learning - Treetops. The classroom can accommodate an entire class of children and is nestled beautifully against one of our many giant oak trees. From Reception upwards, all of our children enjoy a double Outdoor Learning lesson each week - during which they have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills, get out and use all of our school grounds and, importantly, create great memories.
