19 It's Rocket Science is a discovery and interactive centre based in Claydon and half a mile from Ipswich. It is the only Science centre for families and schools to visit in five Counties and is “Astronomy”themed. Come with us and train as an astronaut and visit our many rooms of excitement at every corner. We are so different from any other Science Centre. There is lots of fun to be had, even if you are not particularly interested in science, you will love discovering every room on offer. Included in your ticket price is some time in the “Space Lab” and you will try some experiments and in the “Area 52” you can try your hand at the arts and crafts session. Why not enter our “Earth and Earthlings” room and learn about our human bodies and then meet and greet our friends “Mike” the millipede and “Bill and Ben” the African land snails? This is all part of the Kinetic Science project which is an eight year old charity. Not only a visit for schools and families is available, why not have the most exciting birthday party for children or adults, hire space or join our various clubs and events?
