Santa Claus is coming to the Great Central Railway – and you’re invited to join him for a magical Christmas adventure! Climb aboard the Santa Express at Loughborough Central and get ready for a festive train ride filled with twinkling lights, Christmas decorations, songs, stories and plenty of fun with Santa’s cheeky elves. A traditional steam train will whisk you through the Charnwood countryside towards the Leicester North Pole, passing beautifully decorated stations along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for festive surprises! During your adventure, you’ll meet Mrs Claus, Santa’s elves and, of course, Father Christmas himself. Every child receives a special Christmas Activity Pack packed with games, puzzles and colouring, plus festive treats - and Santa will personally deliver a Christmas present to every child. There’s even time for a stop at Leicester North Pole, where you can take a special photograph with Santa and see what mischief his elves have been getting up to. And grown-ups haven’t been forgotten, with a warming mince pie and Irish Cream Liqueur included too.
