Playing the finest in uplifting Family friendly Dance & Rave music for all ages to hit the dance floor and throw shapes together. Embracing that energy, togetherness, and fun that we all experienced when going out raving. As well as a fantastic soundtrack of the biggest & best Dance & Rave music there will be tons for everyone to do. 3 & 5 Nov - Caphouse Creators (National Coal Mining Museum) - (11am12pm & 2pm-3pm) - 7-12 year olds are invited to get creative at our hands-on club, working with authentic materials to learn practical techniques! Learn the art of sculpture and contribute to our light-up event by creating a wiggly willow lantern. Be part of our marching lantern parade with your colourful creation. £5 per child. 3-5 Nov – Illuminate the Gardens 2023 (Sheffield Botanical Gardens) – With over 10 illuminated installations, walkabout performances, 2 fireworks displays and a lighting show, Illuminate The Gardens is a magical night out for the whole family. Enjoy some delicious street food, grab a drink from the licensed bar, get involved in some free kids activities, enjoy the vintage fairground rides and so much more. If you’ve got little ones with sensitive ears, you can enjoy the ‘low bangs’ fireworks display in the early evening, or stay later to enjoy the exhilarating main display. 5 Nov – Amazelab Steam Club (Cutlery Works) – (1011am) - Join Amazelab for a workshop full of Bonfire night experiments including fizzing fireworks and fireworks in a jar! 5 Nov – Sheffield Autumn Lights (Don Valley Bowl) – (4-9pm) - Join us for a night of entertainment with DJ Ryan Swain and a live band. Enjoy the family funfair, tuck into delicious street food and finish the night watching Sheffield’s BIGGEST firework display. Don’t miss out on a night of fun and spectacular fireworks! Book your tickets online. 19 Nov – Sheffield Christmas Light Switch On (Sheffield City Centre) – Sheffield Christmas Lights Switch On will help get the festive season off with a bang as we celebrate the illuminations with fun and fireworks. Taking place across the city centre on Sunday 19 November 2pm - 6.30pm, once again there will be a dual switch on, from both Barker’s Pool and the Town Hall Square, with the switch on of the illimitations at 6pm. Expect street entertainment, choirs, Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides, dance, panto and of course some special guests to switch on the lights. 3 Dec - Caphouse Creators (National Coal Mining Museum) - (11am-12pm & 2pm-3pm) - 7-12 year olds are invited to get creative at our hands-on club, working with authentic materials to learn practical techniques! Construct some personalised Christmas crackers and their crafty contents in this hands-on, festive workshop. £5 per child.
