Join us for a magical experience as we host the Disney Frozen Sing-a-long cinema! Belt our all the Frozen classics with our live princess host and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Frozen. 21 Oct - The Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long Cinema (OEC Sheffield) - Come Alive and Rewrite the Stars as you enjoy The Greatest Showman sing a long on the big screen. Step right up and enter the wonderful world of “The Greatest Showman” SingA-Long Cinema Experience, hosted by the fabulous live ringmaster drag host! 21 – 29 Oct – Halloween half-term (Brodsworth Hall) – (10am-5pm) - Grab your broomsticks and get ready for a bewitchingly brilliant day out. Gather round and prepare to be enthralled as you listen to stories spun by our spooky storytellers. Join us for a special scary sword school where you’ll learn to vanquish vampires, whack werewolves and pulverize poltergeists! Take part in our Halloween quest and discover magical potion ingredients. Complete the booklet’s activities and solve its creepy clues to become a wonderfully wicked witch’s apprentice! 22 Oct - Under 5s sensory play: Halloween spook-tacular (National Emergency Museum) – Halloween is coming early for this sensory play session. We’ll be making some peekaboo ghosts, exploring some gruesome things, and playing some horrifying games. There will be some spooky songs and a terrifying tale too. 22, 25, 27 & 29 Oct – East, Drink & Owls (The Steel Cauldron) – (10am & 4pm) - The fantastic Flying Squadron will be joining us during the Halloween half term to bring you an awesome aerial display from their wonderful owls. Enjoy one of our magical potions while Professor Alba leads a fascinating talk and flying demonstration, letting her wonderful owls soar across teapot tavern. This will be followed by our food service and a selfie opportunity. Not able to make the display times? Then do not fear, you can still meet an Owl, simply book a ‘Spooktacular Daytime’ session on a day that the Owls are in the building (see below). Professor Alba regularly tours the tables with the Owls between flying displays (11.30am-3.30pm) allowing Owl selfies and answering questions. £7 per person. This session lasts 1 1/2hrs from the start time. 23 Oct – Out of This World (Sheffield City Centre) – (10.30am to 5.30pm) - Back for its eighth year, this free city centre event celebrates all things otherworldly and is for anyone who enjoys sci-fi, comic books, gaming, magic, illusion, Halloween and all things spooky. Spread across the city centre it attracts thousands of adults and children (many in costume), who come to see and enjoy this weird, wonderful and wacky event. 24 & 26 Oct – East, Drink & Spells Spooktacular (The Steel Cauldron) – (2pm) - Eat, Drink and Spells is a fun and interactive magic show, led by resident wizard Professor Carter
